About Sarah
Sarah Davis (previously known as Sarah Rogers) is an active classical music performer and educator. She currently lives in South Florida, where she takes pleasure in both performing and teaching fellow musicians. Sarah always aims to bring her personal mission of equitability and accessibility to all of her experiences and opportunities. Her ability to connect with diverse audiences has served her in all areas. Whether she's singing to a large audience or engaging in one-on-one instruction, she strives to make everyone feel heard and valued.

On the stage...
Sarah Davis is a lyric soprano from West Palm Beach, FL.
She began her training in the prestigious vocal programs of Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos High School of the Arts. She earned her Bachelor of Music at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she was named an Outstanding Graduate of Music. She went on to pursue Master of Music and Performance Diploma from the Boston University Opera Institute, where she studied with Penelope Bitzas. With the Opera Institute, performing highlights included Beth March (Little Women, Adamo) Die Frau (Erwartung, Schönberg), and Selena (If I Were You, Heggie). She was also named a winner of the Boston University Soloist Competition, concluding in a performance of Alban Berg's Sieben frühe Lieder with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Jamie Burton.
Outside of Boston, Sarah has performed as Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, Countess Almaviva in W.A. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, and made her professional debut as Erste Dame in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte with North Carolina Opera. As a frequent concert soloist, she has performed the works of Mozart (Requiem, Exsultate jubilate, Coronation Mass), Bach (Magnificat), Handel (Messiah), and Mendelssohn (Elijah). She has also received acclaim for her work in art song, earning her the Willis Patterson award from the George Shirley Vocal Competition.
Her upcoming 2024-2025 season includes a debut solo recital in New York with Arts on the Lake and performing as the soprano soloist for Handel’s Messiah with the Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches.

As an educator...
Sarah is a passionate voice teacher with over 10 years of experience the field. She has helped countless students of all ages and skill levels to find their unique voice and reach their full potential. Sarah's teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each individual's needs.
Sarah is a member of the National Association of teachers of Singing (NATS). She has experience as a private voice teacher, a music director for numerous productions, and a general music teacher for both public and private schools.
